PARAGAMIAN
The ApotheCom Group appointed David Paragamian to the agency’s senior management team to expand the strategic communications to global, regional, and U.S. domestic clients. Previously, Paragamian was regional CEO for Havas Health, leading agencies across Latin America, Asia Pacific, and the emerging markets; he was also president of the flagship health care advertising agency Euro RSCG Life LM&P.

BARTOLOMEO, PALMER, and SHAPIRO
Cadient Group hired Nick Bartolomeo and Muir Palmer as strategic engagement directors (SED), and Hal Shapiro was appointed to senior talent manager. Prior to joining Cadient Group, Bartolomeo was vice president of strategy at Annodyne. Palmer, formerly account director at Eveo, brings more than 15 years experience in account and project management. Shapiro comes to the agency from G&S Executive Resources, where he was vice president of recruiting.

NAKACHE Michel Nakache joined McCann Healthcare Worldwide as EVP Europe, replacing Mark Worman, who is returning to Australia. Previously, Nakache served as worldwide managing partner, chairman EMEA/APAC, and chairman global brands of Havas Worldwide Health and Euro RSCG Life. He brings with him more than 30 years of both client and agency experience in healthcare communications within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

FREEMAN
MicroMass Communications named Diane Freeman to the post of behaviorist. Freeman, who has a decade of experience in managing healthcare programs worldwide, was previously technical advisor at Population Services International, a leading global health organization with programs targeting malaria, child survival, HIV and reproductive health.

TESTA, KISSENBERTH, BIELSKI, and SOKOLOSKI
Artcraft Health Education hired Mary Testa, Daria Kissenberth, Lauren Bielski, and Christine Sokoloski. Testa, associate creative director, has more than 20 years of graphic design experience; Kissenberth, a designer, has more than 7 years of experience in design and patient education. Bielski, senior account supervisor, provides strategic expertise and facilitates patient education projects. Sokoloski, a medical writer, composes a wide variety of patient education materials in therapeutic areas such as oncology and respiratory diseases.

GRANDY and GRYCHOWSKI
Pacific Communications hired Joanne Grychowski as account supervisor and Scott Gandy as account group supervisor. Grychowski, who will join the Botox Neurosciences account team, was previously a strategic project director at MedEd-Link in Chicago. Formerly an account supervisor at Abelson Taylor, Gandy will join the Latisse account team.

BRIGGS, BRATTESON, and GOTSCHALL
Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide promoted Colleen Briggs and hired Jeff Bratteson and Ken Gotschall. Briggs, an Ogilvy Healthworld employee for more than three years, advanced from her previous position as senior partner, planning director to senior partner, head of planning. Bratteson, currently creative director, was previously the owner of Leap Design, LLC, a creative agency. Gotschall, formerly vice president, director of client finance at LLNS, enters the company as vice president, finance.

WHITAKER
Anne C. Whitaker joined Sanofi as president, North America, pharmaceuticals and member of the Global Management Committee. Formerly of Glaxo SmithKline, Whitaker has been a senior vice president and business unit head of Cardiovascular, Metabolic and Urology since 2009. Prior to that, she was senior vice president of leadership and organization development of GSK’s London office.

BURGESS
Advanced Health Media named James Burgess its new chief executive officer. Burgess brings over 25 years of experience in the information technology and services industry to AHM, whose service offerings are technology-based. Most recently, Burgess was president and CEO of Healthland. He has also served as president and CEO of Mediware Information Systems, and before that as general manager of the health information systems division of 3M.

PAOLICELLI, THOMPSON, REED, DeSTEFANO, WAGONER, and LEE
Dudnyk hired Lynn Paolicelli, RN, as vice president, director of digital strategy to optimize multichannel marketing opportunities for all client content. Paolicelli previously worked at Blue Diesel, where as vice president, account director, she focused on building strategic relationships centered on digital outcomes. The company also hired Greg Thompson, as a digital developer, Carrie Reed, as a studio designer, and Kimberly DeStefano, as an assistant account executive. Additionally, Heather Wagoner was promoted to Senior Account Executive after two years at Dudnyk, and Haeri Lee was promoted to Account Executive.

SHOWALTER
Michael Showalter joined Prime Therapeutics as chief marketing officer. Previously, Showalter served as the senior vice president of enterprise strategic planning at CIGNA. Prior to that, he was CMO and the general manager of consumer driven product lines at CIGNA HealthCare, and vice president of product and public affairs at Definity Health.

LLOYD
Omthera Pharmaceuticals hired Ramona M. Lloyd, Ph.D, RAC as vice president, regulatory affairs. Previously, Lloyd served as vice president, regulatory affairs for Ethicon, and prior to that she held positions at Imclone Systems, including interim senior vice president, global regulatory affairs and drug safety as well as vice president, regulatory affairs-late development.—Lauren Genovesi
