O’BRIEN
Conversation, LLC announced that its founder, Frank O’Brien, has been elected to the Board of the Education and Research Foundation of the Metro NY BBB. He will join existing members on the Foundation Board from organizations such as IBM, Goodwill Industries, King’s College, Global Human Resources, Everybody Wins, Fiscal Management Associates, LLC, and the Ethics & Compliance Officers Association.

ARMSTRONG
Publicis Healthcare Communications Group named Annemarie Armstrong Managing Director, Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare Innovations. Ms. Armstrong has been with SSHI since 2009 serving as EVP, Director of Account Leadership. Prior to that, she was employed at Mangos, an independent agency in suburban Philadelphia, where she led global product launches and branding assignments for multiple business units within Siemens Healthcare, including Molecular Imaging, MRI, CT, and Healthcare IT. She also led marketing assignments for AmerisourceBergen, Olympus Medical, and Drager Medical.

PASTERNAK
Crowd Science has named sales and marketing executive Matt Pasternak Senior Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships. Previously, Mr. Pasternak served as Vice President of Partnerships and Market Development at HealthiNation, overseeing new partnership and revenue initiatives, and led sales at Klipmart (later acquired by Doubleclick)— providing the fastest revenue growth in the company’s history. He also worked at InsightExpress, building and launching their popular ad-effectiveness solution.

KENNEDY
The Integer Group hired Ben Kennedy as Group Director of Mobile Marketing. Most recently a founding member of Joule, a dedicated mobile marketing agency in the WPP network, Mr. Kennedy moved to the United States from England as part of Ok! Magazine’s start-up team. Starting his career in the Omnicom Graduate Program working within BBDO and phd, Kennedy has worked with notable brands including Diageo, Sprint, Johnson & Johnson, Volkswagen of America, and ConAgra Foods, and also holds a law degree from the University of Huddersfield, England.

DANFORD
MicroMass Communications, Inc. appointed Chad Danford to the post of multimedia producer. Danford brings nearly a decade of experience as a filmmaker, producer, director, and editor to the new position, where he will strengthen the agency’s video production department and create interactive programs for digital outlets such as web browsers, mobile devices, kiosks and environmental design. Mr. Danford was previously employed at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina in Durham as multimedia designer. Besides his full-time work at MicroMass, he will continue as an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Carolina s School of Journalism and Mass Communication, where he teaches introductory video production and editing.

PANIGRAHI and CORDERO
AbelsonTaylor has hired two Northwestern alumni, Prateek Panigrahi and Jaclyn Cordero, as clinical research associates. Panigrahi will be responsible for products in women s health and hormone replacement therapies and reports to Helen Trbovic, director of account support and recruitment services. He is a published author whose article appeared in the International Journal of Lung Disease and Tuberculosis. Cordero, who also reports to Trbovic, will be responsible for products for the treatment of epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, infantile spasms, nephrotic syndrome, overactive bladder, dry eye and pain relief. She recently completed her Masters Degree in biotechnology from Northwestern.

MURPHY
Delta Point, Inc. announced that Matt Murphy has joined their company as Executive Account dDirector. Murphy brings to Delta Point a wealth of experience based on his 17-year career with AstraZeneca, where he won numerous awards with each position in sales, sales leadership, and training.

BYRNE
Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide announced the rejoining of Susan Byrne as director of client services, Ogilvy Healthworld, at the New York City office. Ms. Byrne began her career with Ogilvy Healthworld in 1998 and since then has held a number of senior-level positions within the Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide network and WPP organizations. Most recently, she served as a client partner for the holding company’s European accounts, a position in which she will continue on as a consultant.

PEARSON
Pacific Communications announced the addition of Senior Account Executive Catherine Pearson, who is joining the Restasis account team. Pearson was previously an account supervisor at Euro RSCG Life. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing from Loyola Marymount University.

RAWLINGS
Healogix announced the addition of Ken Rawlings as managing director. As part of the leadership team, Rawlings will drive consulting and research initiatives, working closely with clients to address the complex business challenges that they face in today s biopharmaceutical market. Rawlings brings more than 16 years of consulting and market research experience to Healogix, working across numerous therapeutic categories and a multitude of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Most recently, Rawlings was vice president, client services, at the market research firm Phoenix Healthcare. —Jeremiah Budin
