PhRMA: LECHLEITER, HUGIN, READ
The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) elected Eli Lilly chairman and CEO John C. Lechleiter, Ph.D., as the trade group’s new chairman of the board, succeeding Sanofi head Christopher Viehbacher. PhRMA’s board also named Celgene CEO Robert J. Hugin as chairmanelect and Pfizer CEO Ian C. Read as treasurer.

ROSKA: ZARITSKY Roska Healthcare Advertising (Montgomeryville, PA) hired David Zaritsky as its new president. Jay Bolling will continue as the company’s CEO, working closely with Zaritsky, formerly managing director of Healthcare Regional Marketing, whose new responsibilities will include strategic planning and development, business development, staff management, and managing long-term client relationships.

GSW-W: DESHAZER
GSW Worldwide (Columbus, OH), an inVentiv Health company, hired Ryan DeShazer as vice president of Search and Social. DeShazer joins the company from Gyro (Cincinnati), where he spent nearly five years installing and building its digital capabilities.

HOBART: RENICK, KOCH, VANDERPOEL
Hobart promoted managing director Dan Renick, RPh, to president of Hobart Group Holdings. He had previously been director of corporate pharmacy management at Humana. The company also appointed Troy Koch, PharmD, MBA, senior vice president and director of Client Services, and Dan Vanderpoel, PharmD, vice president of Strategic Services. Both Koch and Vanderpoel are also veterans of Humana. At the same time, the company announced that it will open a third office, in Chicago.

EVERYDAY HEALTH: BREEN, SY, AUERBACH, REECE
Everyday Health (New York) named Joanna Breen, a three-time Emmy award winning television producer, vice president, Video and Television Programming. Her team will include former ABC News correspondent Stephanie Sy, who joins as senior editor and correspondent, and CBS health news veteran Pam Auerbach. Everyday Health also announced the hiring of Orlando Reece as vice president and head of Broadcast and Digital Video Sales.

KANTAR: EICHMANN, JACOMBS, GRILLO, POTTS
Kantar Health (New York) appointed Dr. Florian Eichmann as business unit director, Treatment Value, based in Germany. He will be responsible for the company’s Health Outcomes, Public Health, Drug Surveillance, Clinical Research and Medical Device/Diagnostic groups and joins Kantar from Kendle. The company also announced three promotions affecting its Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APMEA) region. The company expanded APMEA managing director Stephen Potts’ role to include leadership of its Global Marketing Insights practice. Graeme Jacombs becomes deputy managing director, responsible for Australia/New Zealand and India in addition to his current remit for Southeast Asia. Vince Grillo becomes general manager, Singapore and Malaysia, based in Singapore.

REMPEX: CAYER
Rempex Pharmaceuticals (San Diego, CA), a biopharmaceutical company focused on combating antibiotic resistance, has appointed Jennifer Cayer its new chief operating officer. Cayer joins the company from Conatus Pharmaceuticals, where she was co-founder and senior vice president of corporate development.

MEDECISION: DONAHUEDALTON
MEDecision (Wayne, PA), a provider of collaborative health management solutions, announced that Ellen Donahue- Dalton will take on a permanent role as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. She has been a consultant to MEDecision since 2011 and was formerly an independent consultant and a vice president of GTech Corporation.

Jennie Fischette has joined Concentric Pharma Advertising as executive vice president and director of Client Services. She was previously senior vice president and managing director at AgencyRx.

SCOLR: CALABRESE
Specialty pharmaceutical company SCOLR Pharma (Bellevue, WA) named Clem Calabrese director of Field Sales. ACELLA: LARKIN Acella Pharmaceuticals (Atlanta, GA) hired Tom Larkin as vice president of Sales and Marketing for the company’s portfolio of non-branded products in dermatology, women’s health, pediatrics, and other therapeutic areas.

LEHMANMILLET: PROMOTES 12
LehmanMillet (Boston, MA, and Santa Ana, CA) announced the promotion of 12 staff members. At the agency’s Boston headquarters, Danielle Stern has been promoted to account supervisor; Chris Pinkham to associate creative director, art; Alex Quinn to senior traffic manager; George Recine to senior copywriter; Janice Moore to lead designer; Jeff Dauzat to staff accountant; and Elizabeth Anderson to business development manager. In Santa Ana, Serene Smith has been promoted to account supervisor, Christy Halladay to senior account manager, Brian Gwaltney to senior production artist, Jeremy Groff to account manager, and Alyssa Adamson to business development manager.

Nucleic acid diagnostics company Trovagene named Keith McCormick head of commercial operations. The former senior director of sales at bioTheranostics will guide the company’s commercialization.
