Roska Healthcare Advertising capped off a busy summer with a celebration of kids and families at the agency’s first annual “Kids’ Day” event. Fifteen children and teenagers, ages 3 to 16, came to work with their parents to get a sense of what their mom or dad does all day, while also providing a surge of energy and youthful inspiration to the agency team. Kids participated in a scavenger hunt, face painting, a balloon volleyball tournament, bracelet making and mural painting. The event was topped off by a pizza palooza lunch followed by a chance to make your own sundaes.

Kids’ Day 2012 is one of several initiatives Roska Healthcare has launched as part of the agency’s commitment to its employees. Steve McQuirns, a senior project manager at Roska Healthcare, brought his five-year-old twins and they haven’t stopped talking about it since. “Kids’ Day 2012 is an example of how Roska Healthcare is dedicated to the work/life balance of its employees,” said McQuirns. CEO Jay Bolling added: “Our agency is guided by a four-pronged compass where we focus on enhancing relationships with our clients, business partners, community and families. Our Kids’ Day celebration was a great example of living our core beliefs while we work.”
