One Remarkable Night: The 7th Annual Trailblazer Awards Gala

September 25th was one busy day in Manhattan. Pope Francis arrived in town, the UN welcomed delegates from around the world, and we at PM360 once again rolled out the red carpet for the extraordinary industry award winners and celebrants who packed the house at the 7th Annual Trailblazer Awards Gala at NYC’s Gotham Hall. Simply put, it was our best-ever event!

Good things do happen in threes, but this night was beyond good—it was remarkable. The elements that clinched this gala as the most successful event in PM360’s history were many fold: The caliber of our award winners’—and all of our attendees’—achievements; the ingenuity behind innovations never before seen in the healthcare industry; and the gaiety afforded by the comic stylings of the evening’s emcee, Emmy award-winning actress, writer and comedian Judy Gold, who welcomed our honorees to the stage, and kept them laughing all the while.

With the amount of change our industry has seen in just this past year, the need to innovate, create and achieve at breakneck speeds has spurred all to new heights—so much so that our esteemed PM360 Editorial Advisory Board judges met with impossible choices.

That led to two new Trailblazer Award firsts: The first time we have honored two winners with Gold and Silver in our Company of the Year categories; and the first time we have awarded 18 PM360 Brand Champions, opening up a new category for those who are redefining industry achievements in the Rare Diseases community.

Of the many accolades given that night, we at PM360 were honored to bestow Timothy G. Rothwell, former Chairman, President and CEO of Sanofi US, a man beloved by the many he has helped, counseled and mentored, with the Lifetime Achievement Award. We’d also like to tip the hat to our incredible sponsors and offer a special thanks to Makovsky + Company who spread the word far and wide. Join us again next year—we look forward to another remarkable night!
