A Market Access Maven

Lalitha Priya Chandrashekhar is a medical communication and market access strategist, with a remarkable career spanning over 17 years in the healthcare industry. Priya has worked with global teams across various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, biotech, CRO, and agencies, gaining extensive experience from clinical development through commercialization and launch.

Priya began her career with prominent companies such as McNeil Consumer Healthcare, Merck, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Sanofi Genzyme, where she held medical and scientific consulting roles. She then transitioned to the agency side and held senior-level roles in various agencies, specializing in market access. Several are now stepping into managerial and senior level roles, a testament to Priya’s exceptional leadership and guidance.

In addition to being the Founder and CEO of PFG MedComm, Priya works with healthcare startup founders through her strategic advisory consultancy, PFG Stealth, LLC and as a mentor with FemTechLab, a global health tech startup accelerator. She is also an active member of various professional associations such as the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and the Diversity Alliance for Science. Priya’s passion for healthcare innovation led her to complete a Healthcare Innovation Bootcamp through MIT and Harvard Medical School.

Outside of work, Priya is a dedicated mother to twins, an avid reader, and a Crossfit enthusiast. Priya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in bioscience and biotechnology, and psychology, along with certificates in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Regulatory Writing, and Clinical Trial Reporting.
