Delivering Improved Clinical Trial Recruitment and Retention

For the second year in a row Victoria Donovan is being recognized as an ELITE Entrepreneur. She founded Clinically Media in 2017 to improve the clinical trial patient recruitment and retention space and ever since has been a constant force in making sponsors and researchers’ lives easier. She is continually evolving the software and services Clinically Media offers to provide the most valuable product to patients and industry professionals to make the greatest impact, leading to more medical advancements and more patients served.

The results often speak for themselves. Clinically Media enrolled a pivotal axillary hyperhidrosis study in about five months, which was approximately one month ahead of the expected timeline. The company also assisted in enrollment for a trial that dealt with separate indications of psoriasis. To further understand the lives of psoriasis patients the team actively sought out educational events. Then, using the information from the events, they monitored and analyzed the digital campaign’s data and progress and adjusted advertising efforts when necessary based on the statistics gathered. By updating key elements within the social media advertisements to avoid audience saturation, ensuring inclusivity throughout images and messaging, and modifying the audience reach, Clinically Media was able to meet the referral goals.

Victoria likes to contribute their success to keeping patients at the heart of Clinically Media’s mission. It is one of the reasons why Victoria established a partnership with Uber Health so that Clinically Media’s clients and patients are able to provide and receive transportation to and from clinical trial appointments with ease. Furthermore, the company is continuously working towards improving accessibility to clinical trials, learning more about diversity and inclusion, and expanding efforts and impact.
