Solving Pharma’s Pull-Through Problem

Universally, physicians hate it when prescription decisions are held up by payer coverage issues. Sometimes it’s a prior authorization. Other times the HCP believes a product is covered, only to hear from an angry patient who walked away from their pharmacy with sticker shock. Entrée Health launched Access Next in 2022 to help ensure physicians have the right information about coverage so that life-changing therapies get into the hands of those who need them most.

The all-in-one data dashboard is housed right in Veeva to provide reps with accurate, up-to-date coverage data about payers, pharmacies, and employers; commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid; and for every physician on a rep’s call sheet, in every region and county. It’s designed to support all the products in a manufacturer’s portfolio. Plus, it’s tailored to each physician’s office, making it easy to share coverage details for only the health plans that matter to each prescriber. Companies can also track the impact on prescriptions so brands can measure where messages are getting through and where adjustments are needed. Extensive research, planning, and testing were conducted to ensure the platform could effectively create impactful promotional assets that accurately pull through formulary information within an HCP’s specialization.
