ParaPRO’s Thought Leader AI
Anytime, Anywhere Consults on Scabies
ParaPRO, LLC has introduced a tool to revolutionize scabies care. Known as Thought Leader AI, this decision-support platform, developed in collaboration with the Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT) at the University of Southern California, aims to enhance clinical decision-making from diagnosis to treatment. The platform promises to redefine how medical professionals approach complex cases by providing online access to leading scabies specialists anytime, anywhere.
These scabies specialists include: Theodore Rosen, MD, FAAD, Professor of Dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine and Chief of Dermatology Services at Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center; Anthony J. Mancini, MD, FAAP, FAAD, Division Head & Associate Fellowship Program Director, Dermatology, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology, Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine; and Christopher Belcher, MD, FAAP, Director of Pediatric Infectious Disease, Payton Manning Children’s Hospital, St. Vincent/Ascension.
Thought Leader AI uses artificial intelligence to pull responses from hundreds of hours of video footage captured of the three experts to provide real-time, evidence-based consultations for diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient management.
Using machine learning, and based on training data, ICT created a model that’s able to translate new and varied questions to return the ideal available answer. Users can ask any question, in any order, and receive curated feedback from one or more of the experts.
Dr. Rosen stated, “This platform has the potential to revolutionize how medical professionals approach complex cases and collaborate to provide the highest quality care. With Thought Leader AI, healthcare professionals can make more informed decisions, collaborate seamlessly, and deliver expected outcomes.”
