CMI Media Group, a WPP company, and Compas have expanded their use of custom AI services and support for clients as part of an ongoing focus on impactful innovation. For example, the companies developed AI-driven task automation bots to deliver more effective ad trafficking for clients. Now, they can automate the Ad Tech services process, training bots to follow an extensive set of rules built around diverse types of campaigns and their complexities.

At the start of the process, the client shares their brand objectives for the campaign, including audience, and proposes a potential budget. Genetic AI then helps the agency’s analytics team find the best possible spend by channel and by audience by evaluating thousands of combinations that maximize the client’s revenue, profit, return on investment, and awareness. The planner can also run multiple scenarios at different investment levels to evaluate the optimal budget. In some cases, the team may find ways for the client to spend less than originally intended.

In another example, CMI Media Group has had success in leveraging X’s AI tools to both understand and reach the HCP audience on paid social. Through keyword analysis, CMI Media Group accelerates the understanding of HCP expression and increases campaign targeting precision in real-time by natural language processing techniques. For instance, a campaign saw a significant 74% reduction in cost per impression by utilizing a keyword segment of HCPs’ reading and research behavior for polycystic kidney disease to increase audience accuracy and reach. As a result, CMI Media Group is leveraging these targeting AI techniques across multiple paid social campaigns on X.
