“Over the past 17+ years, I’ve been lucky enough to have been given the rare opportunity to build out a lot of teams from the ground-up,” says Ryan Billings, Executive Director, Head of Commercial Innovation, Organon. “But only one person holds the title of the ‘best hire of my career,’ and that person is hands down Nicole Benedetto.”

What has made Nicole so impressive? For starters, when Billings brought her onto his team back at GSK as part of the company’s budding oncology business unit, Nicole—in her spare time—launched one of the industry’s first-ever HCP key online influencer programs. Within a very traditional organization, Nicole created new processes for identifying and contracting HCPs with influence across social media platforms. She contracted over 10 HCP influencers, co-created content with them, and pushed the content—both branded and unbranded—from those HCPs’ social channels. The results were beyond impressive and added a level of credibility no other marketing tactic ever could.

So when Billings left GSK to join Organon he asked Nicole to join him—and she has already made quite an impact in just six months. Nicole has rolled out major programs such as a partnership with Google to identify and manage misinformation online regarding contraception (at a time in our country when this is more important than ever before). She also led efforts to bring in better datasets to enable triggered, personalized content to prescribers in the right moments based on their holistic behaviors. In addition, she is working to identify friction points in customer journeys and implement solutions across all of the company’s therapeutic areas.
