Over the past 12 years, our industry has experienced quite a few changes. Hell, over the past nine months our world has almost completely transformed. But through it all one thing has remained unchanged—the innovation and ingenuity of our industry. I am constantly amazed by our industry’s scientific achievements in developing life-altering therapies, limitless imagination in discovering new ways to engage with customers, and persistent passion for helping patients and the world at large. It’s why I established the Trailblazer Awards 12 years ago—because these accomplishments deserve recognition. They deserve a celebration.
At PM360, we pride ourselves on delivering a celebration that is worthy of the work our industry does. That is true no matter the circumstances. While we couldn’t party with 500 of this industry’s best and brightest at Gotham Hall this year, we still captured that same spirit on October 1 with our virtual Trailblazer Awards Event. We still had Judy Gold making you laugh until your cheeks hurt. We still celebrated all of our outstanding winners, spoke with them live, and gave them a chance to share the joy in being recognized for their work. We still noted those who dressed red carpet ready—even if it was only their top halves. We still threw a dance party—this one allowing your kids, partners, and even pets to join in. We still made sure you had a chance to have fun, see your colleagues, and just admire all of the outstanding things you all do. If you do, you will see Regeneron take home the Pharma/Biotech Company of the Year. While the company has done many great things this past year, it has also been at the forefront of developing a treatment for COVID-19. In fact, you may have heard a few things in the news recently about that courtesy of President Trump. You will also watch Greenwich Biosciences win Specialty Pharma Company of Year for its pioneering work in developing cannabinoid medicines to address serious medical conditions.
