The global pandemic prevented us from celebrating in person this year, but we still threw a virtual party worthy of this industry’s achievements. Partnering with The Inception Company and their Pando platform, we were able to see many of the night’s winners and speak with them live. We also watched as attendees put on a fashion show to compete in our Best Dressed contest, and then danced solo or with their kids, pets, partners, and even stuffed animals in attempt to win the Dance Contest. We would like to thank all of the event’s sponsors including: Health Monitor Network, Calcium, Concentric Health Experience, Dudnyk, DeepIntent, FINN Partners, Intouch Group, the Academy of Oncology Nurses and Patient Navigators (AONN+), and Strategix, a division of The Lynx Group.
Matt Giegerich, CEO of The Inception Company, welcomes everyone and shares a bit about the Pando platform. Anna Stashower, CEO/Publisher of PM360, was thrilled to still be able to get everyone together to celebrate this year. Throughout the night we interacted with many of the winners and other attendees from the comfort of their homes. Calcium’s iconic cow imagery helped them achieve the honor of this year’s best Self-Promotion initiative. Alexza Pharmaceuticals and Elevate’s “Unleash the Speed”won Best Professional Website/Online Initiative. Fingerpaint in working with the Imagination Award winner and the Concussion Legacy Foundation won the Best Video/TV Campaign for their “Tackle Can Wait” campaign. Gil Bashe of FINN Partners was this year’s recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award. Karen Sullivan of Takeda was named this year’s Marketer of the Year and took a few moments to thank some of the people who made that possible. The LIBTAYO Patient Marketing Team from Regeneron, Sanofi Genzyme, and Snow Companies won Marketing Team of the Year, and Sandra Graham-Mason from Regeneron was happy to accept for the team. After being named the Imagination Award winner, Chris Nowinski, PhD of Concussion Legacy Foundation shared a little about his organization’s work in educating people on the dangers of youth tackle football. For his pioneering efforts in the programmatic space, Chris Paquette of DeepIntent won the Vanguard Award. Brandon Lewis of Aspen Green shared a toast to his company’s win for Best Natural Product Brand. Calcium won Agency of the Year for the second year in a row, and Greg Lewis explained how they’ve been able to be so successful. Danielle Daly accepted on behalf of ConnectiveRx for their big win as the Supplier/Vendor of the Year. Julie Baker of Greenwich Biosciences, the leader in researching cannabinoid medicines for rare epilepsies, accepted their win for Speciality Pharma Company of the Year. Regeneron was named this year’s Pharma/Biotech Company of the Year and Sandy Sexton couldn’t be happier to represent the company. Jim Sluck shared some words for the industry in accepting Sight Sciences’ win for Medical Device/Diagnostics Company of the Year. Judy Gold brought the laughs as the night’s emcee, including making everyone show their shoes during the best dressed contest. Yes, even Anna had to show her footwear. Dora P. Shankman of Shankman Marketing and Media Resources, LLC was named the winner of Best Dressed for her total ensemble. It wouldn’t be a PM360 party without a DJ and dancing. People pulled out all of the stops—and props—to help win the Dance Contest, but Andrew Watson of Amarin and his son couldn’t be denied as they were named the winners.
