AbelsonTaylor (Chicago, IL) has hired three new senior art directors—Ciara Panacchia, Sarah Alexander and Mark Ludemann—and expanded its copy group by naming Robert Williams to associate creative director, copy, and Amy Lillard and Denis O’Keefe as senior copywriters.

ACCENTHEALTH: CURBISHLEY
AccentHealth (New York, NY), the health education TV waiting room network, appointed John Curbishley executive vice president, business and product development, a newly created position reporting to CEO Dan Stone. Curbishley joins AccentHealth from the iVillage division of NBCUniversal where he was SVP, business development.

ACTIVATE NETWORKS: CALDWELL
Network analytics company Activate Networks hired Wayne Caldwell as vice president in its Life Sciences Practice. Caldwell was most recently with Wolters Kluwer in a senior strategic partnership and business development role.

ALL GLOBAL: HOOVER
All Global announced that Bill Hoover has joined the company as senior vice president, market research U.S., managing business development in the U.S. and reporting to COO Hilary Fischer. He joined the company from M3 Global Research (formerly MDLinx Market Research).

AVRIO BIOPHARMACEUTICALS: BOTHA
Avrio Biopharmaceuticals (Irvine, CA) appointed William P. Botha as president. Botha comes to the company with more than 24 years of direct experience in manufacturing and the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries, most recently as senior director of operational excellence at Genzyme.

BELL FALLA: CHEN Marketing research and consulting firm Bell Falla and Associates (Norwalk, CT) hired market researcher Victoria Chen. She joins the company from GfK Healthcare, where she was senior vice president, research and consulting.

EPOCRATES: HURD
Epocrates (San Mateo, CA) appointed Andrew Hurd president and chief executive officer. Hurd has more than 20 years of healthcare IT experience, and joins Epocrates from Carefx, acquired by Harris Corporation in 2011, where he served as chairman and CEO for more than six years.

HARRISON & STAR: MILLER
Harrison and Star (New York, NY) named Mardene Miller president of the agency. Miller had been serving as one of three senior vice presidents and managing directors at the company. Ty Curran relinquishes the president’s title, but will remain CEO.

iNVENTIV HEALTH: ARCHER
inVentiv Health appointed Mark Archer senior vice president of European operations and development for inVentiv Health Commercial, which provides sales, marketing, communications and patient outcome services. Archer will work closely with inVentiv Health Communications/Europe to broaden the company’s commercial operations on the Continent. He previously served as vice president of global business development at Quintiles.

LEHMANMILLET: LUPTON, PRIZIO, MCNALLY, MANDRAGOURAS
LehmanMillet (Boston, MA) announced four new staff appointments: Kelly Lupton, management supervisor; Tiffany Prizio, account supervisor; Marissa McNally, senior account manager; and Julie Mandragouras, account coordinator. Lupton will be based in San Francisco, and Prizio, McNally, and Mandragouras will be based in its Boston, Massachusetts headquarters.

MERZ: HUMPHRIES
William (Bill) D. Humphries has been appointed CEO of the U.S. holding company, Merz, Inc. He will assume overall responsibility for the company’s medical dermatology global business unit and will oversee strategic direction and collaboration among three North American companies: Merz Pharmaceuticals, Merz Aesthetics, and Merz Pharma Canada.

OGILVY COMMONHEALTH: GIBBONS
Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide (Parsippany, NJ) announced that Gloria Gibbons, the company’s president of EMEA, AP, Latina, has been elected chairman of the Health Communications Council (HCC) of the European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA).

PRECISION HEALTH MEDIA: FINK
Precision Health Media (New York, NY) named Matthew Fink its first vice president of marketing. Fink joins the company from Johnson & Johnson, where he was most recently integrated marketing manager.

SIREN: GILMORE, BUSKING-O’MALLEY
Siren Interactive has hired Megan Gilmore as an account executive. Gilmore will collaborate with agency creative, project management, and digital development team members to ensure client deliverables are on target, on time and within budget. Stacy Busking-O’Malley has been promoted from account supervisor to account director. Her new responsibilities will provide more extensive opportunities for her to partner with clients, develop program strategy, and lead agency account teams.

SK&A: CHANG, GREEN
SK&A (Irvine, CA), a Cegedim Company, promoted two executives to support corporate-growth initiatives. Albert Chang, formerly senior director, operations, was promoted to managing director, SK&A. Mike Green, formerly director, OneKey Operations, was promoted to senior director, OneKey Business Development.

TOPIN: NOREN, KRAMER
Topin & Associates (Chicago, IL) promoted two account executives to vice president and account director. Promoted were Tanja Noren and Betsy Kramer. Noren will continue to lead the development of brand marketing strategies and plans for Teva Neuroscience and Lundbeck. Kramer will continue the day-to-day management of several of the agency’s account teams, working with clients such as Myriad Genetics, Mission Pharmacal, Terumo Cardiovascular Systems, Vetter Pharma, and Beltone.
