Phreesia Life Sciences’ Post-Script Patient Engagement
Adherence Resources at the Time of Prescription
Phreesia’s post-script engagement supplies patients with tailored resources to adhere to their medication as soon as their prescription is written—whether it’s the first time or a refill. Launched in October 2023, this solution delivers curated content to patients in a privacy-safe manner, when their consent is on file, after an appointment and outside of the check-in process. In addition to prompting patients and supplying them with tools to start and stay on treatment, the engagement also measures how likely patients are to fill their prescription.
These insights from the intent-to-fill survey help doctors tailor their interactions with patients based on their unique challenges, such as financial constraints or medication concerns, which helps to address barriers head-on. Aggregated reports of survey insights are also available for brands, allowing them to explore patients’ behavioral patterns as well as deliver content based on their individual needs, such as a copay card for patients who have financial concerns about filling their prescriptions.
Many times, patients aren’t aware additional resources are available to help them get and stay on their therapies. Phreesia survey data shows three in five patients have little to no knowledge of patient support programs (PSPs), and just 3% of eligible patients are using them. By reaching patients at high-intent moments, this innovation gives brands the critical touchpoint needed to provide patients with the support they may need.
The post-script engagement is part of Phreesia’s medication adherence product suite, which includes multiple solutions designed to help improve medication adherence by supporting all stakeholders in the process: patients, providers, and life sciences partners.
