ELITE 2023 Leader of the Future Charlotte Harrison of Nestlé Health Science

Nestlé Health Science

Breaking New Ground in Medical Nutrition

Charlotte Harrison started with Nestlé Health Science in 2018 as an Associate Marketing Manager and quickly proved herself, earning two promotions leading to her current position as Marketing Manager for Compleat®. She has carved a niche for herself in the Medical Nutrition field, a category with many challenges and opportunities for communication between consumer and professional audiences.

Charlotte’s impact through her Compleat marketing efforts (including messages and tools for sales reps, launching new packaging, and day-to-day brand management) and leading the 2023 planning process across the entire Medical Nutrition portfolio have demonstrated her work ethic, strategic mindset, and organized approach. In fact, Charlotte received positive feedback on how the commercial planning was handled for 2023. Her supervisor, Jessica Gates says, “Charlotte is a strong, credible voice for Medical Nutrition. She comes to the table with solutions and ideas to help incorporate ALL brands, not just her brand.”

In addition to leading the charge for 2023 brand plans, Charlotte was the first marketer within her team to create and execute an HCP demand-generation strategy along with the first Medical Nutrition HCP omnichannel plan. This kind of branded professional communication had not been done before within Nestlé Health Science in the U.S. But Charlotte was confident that the campaign aligned with the brand imperatives, so she took it to the next level!

The campaign has performed well with HCPs, and in sharing her knowledge with the rest of the team, all the strategic brands within the Medical Nutrition portfolio will be implementing the plans. Charlotte will spearhead the introduction of this new approach to the entire organization.

“Charlotte showed great leadership and tenacity and dealt with strategies, vendors, tactics, and technology that were new to her,” Gates says. “But she did it well and with very little oversight.”
