ELITE 2021 Transformational Leader Alisa Lask of Galderma

Alisa Lask

Vice President & General Manager, U.S. Aesthetic Business Unit

Galderma

Leading the Way in Aesthetics

Galderma is driving the future of aesthetics forward by bringing innovative solutions to aesthetic providers and consumers fueled by industry-leading research, education, and training. That is in no small part to Alisa Lask who has increased the size of the business exponentially and has helped establish the most comprehensive portfolio of dermal fillers in the aesthetic space.

Under Alisa’s leadership, Galderma invests significant resources into training and educating aesthetic partners through best-in-class programs such as the award-winning Galderma Interactive Anatomy (GIA) platform, which leverages virtual reality to train injectors on proper techniques. Another key program is the Galderma Aesthetic Injector Network (GAIN), which provides complimentary, comprehensive training on the latest developments, techniques, and best practices in aesthetics. Alisa also champions programs to build consumer loyalty, including the creation and management of the Galderma ASPIRE Rewards program—an award-winning loyalty program with more than two million members and almost 50,000 more joining every month.

She is also dedicated to furthering the careers of women in the industry as one of the founders of Galderma’s Women in Aesthetics Leadership Council, which launched in 2019. The multi-disciplinary council is designed to accelerate the trend of women holding leadership roles and to foster support for female-focused aesthetic business ownership. Galderma has more than doubled the number of female clinical investigators in company-sponsored trials since 2014. Today, women hold nearly 50% of Galderma’s clinical investigator roles.

Alisa is also passionate about finding ways to give back and encourage others to do the same. She initiated a partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s (NBCF) Dallas chapter, a national organization focused on helping women who have received a breast cancer diagnosis and are going through the journey of accessing care, managing treatment, and navigating the experience. She also regularly participates in Dress for Success and has served as the Director for the Big Dog Ranch Rescue’s Annual Event.

Alisa has built a culture of kindness, generosity, and deep connection with her team, and she inspires them every day through her indomitable positive attitude and tireless problem-solving abilities.
