Invent the Future—Innovate

“The best way to predict the future is to invent it.” This quote from computer scientist, Alan Kay, couldn’t be more timely for the pharma marketing and healthcare industries. We are undergoing challenges in all sectors: ACA requirements, digital communication integration, reaching physicians in private practices and large organizations, payer quandaries, new competitors such as Google’s Life Sciences and Calico—not to mention engaging patients who are somewhat leery and more savvy than ever before. PM360 is thrilled to see the industry shift into full reinvention mode.

So how are we doing? Step by inventive step, we are meeting the new environment’s demands head on. Not only that, but we are also predicting unmet needs across the spectrum and innovating like mad to meet them. An abundance of fresh, unforeseen developments emerge—and no end is in sight. Wow. The excitement is palpable!

For the 4th consecutive year, PM360’s Innovations Issue challenged our industry pros and was met with a flood of submissions, the likes of which have not been seen before. This issue delves into the groundbreaking companies, divisions, startups, products, services and strategies that are changing the face of healthcare.

As always, PM360’s goal is to inspire—to shake things up. This issue assists our readers in finding the resources needed to push the industry away from its staid, traditional methods toward a more relevant style by providing insights into the kind of thinking that disrupts and thrusts the industry into ingenious endeavors for the betterment of all. PM360’s fervent wish is that these thoughts, ideas, creative solutions and innovations will galvanize our readers to act—to imagine and then create the future, one that makes us all proud.

And speaking of proud, look for our January issue for the winners of the Pharma Choice Awards, the only online creative competition in which our readers vote for the most imaginative works from the industry’s many creatives. Prepare to be awed!

Once again, PM360 thanks you, our readers and advertisers, for your devotion and support. We look forward to another great year in 2016!
