As Global Head of Commercial Innovations and Solutions at Syneos Health, Lee Taurman disrupts with focus, innovation, and tech acumen—all in order to serve life sciences with better ways to help people. With long tenure working for pharmaceutical companies and consultancies, he is uniquely suited for this role.
Lee recognized pharmaceutical companies’ limited options regarding commercialization: out-license or go it alone. Each had their benefits, but neither created the big-reward, highly proficient solutions Syneos sought for their clients.
Lee rolled up his sleeves, energized his team, and built a third option for biopharma: the first end-to-end integrated delivery model. The innovation leveraged the company’s existing global infrastructure to increase efficiency, scale, and speed by utilizing Syneos Health’s existing global infrastructure and significant expertise, and importantly, enabling them to retain control of their asset longer to keep future options open.
