Cannes Lions Health Announces the 2015 Shortlist

In a highly anticipated moment, Lions Health released the shortlist for both its Pharma and Health & Wellness categories. The second most shortlisted entries from one country came from the U.S. Nineteen Pharma entries—out of 79 total shortlisted entries—made the creativity festival’s shortlist. The United Kingdom had the most with 24—13 of those from Langland, the agency with the most shortlisted entries.

The U.S. agencies named were McCann Echo, StrawberryFrog, CDM, GSW, Aeras, Ruder Finn, Publicis Kaplan Thaler, Havas Worldwide Tonic, Possible Seattle, CDMiConnect, DigitasLBi, Alma DDB, Hill Holliday, and Deutsch. The winners will be announced later today.

The Health & Wellness shortlist included 180 total entries, including 15 from U.S. agencies. Brazil had the most with 36. The U.S. agencies named included Publicis Kaplan Thaler, J. Walter Thompson, FCB, Walton Isaacson, Area 23, VML, CP+B, Lucky Treehouse, Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, Y&R and Strong Flims.
