Doximity Announces Telehealth Deployment to Hospitals

Doximity Dialer makes it easy for physicians and patients to use their own devices for telehealth.

Doximity, the well-known digital platform for medical professionals, announced that 150 U.S. health systems have deployed Doximity Dialer Enterprise as a hospital-wide telehealth solution. Dialer enables doctors and other healthcare professionals to securely call or video chat patients directly from their own smartphones. The HIPAA-compliant tool works with any smartphone, and doesn’t require any additional setup for patients, making it easy for physicians to engage with their patients especially as telehealth makes a space for itself in the healthcare system’s new normal.

Doximity Dialer is now being used by some of the leading hospitals in the U.S., including Loma Linda University Health. “Dialer Enterprise helps us expand access to care and improve overall clinical experience for patients,” said Dr. Ricardo Peverini, a physician at the hospital. “The ability to send a video link to patients by text message ensures patients can access their visit easily and their appointment will not be missed.”
