Paving the Way to Faster Treatment Starts

Bryan’s exposure to life sciences started at a young age, watching his father’s career at companies like Johnson & Johnson and emerging biopharmas. During his college years at Bentley University, Bryan’s internships at Covidien (Medtronic) and Cubist (Merck) sparked a love for analytics and operations that could help bring the right treatment to patients.

After completing his MBA, he joined Veeva, a cloud software company for life sciences, as the senior director of product management. With an extensive commercial analytics background, Bryan is working to eliminate industry inefficiencies and simplify processes to accelerate patient treatment. Every day, he helps companies with a new approach to collecting and analyzing data.

For example, Bryan’s leadership played a pivotal role in the design and development of Veeva Compass’ modern data products—Veeva Compass Prescriber and National—featuring prescriber -and national- level projections based on both prescription and medical claims. These Veeva products help clients track patients and therapeutic volume across retail and non-retail settings of care—all without the need for multiple data sources. With more than 30% of all pharmaceutical products represented in medical claims, the products delivered more complete projections. Visibility into office-administered procedures, in addition to retail prescriptions, helps companies see a complete picture of all medicines—a significant innovation in commercial data for life sciences.

As rare diseases affect about 1 in 10 people in the U.S., there is a need to bring complex medicines to patients with speed and precision. Bryan and his team have created a foundation for a better connection to healthcare provider (HCP) activity, to help deliver treatment when it matters most. By providing projected data for a range of therapeutic markets to retail, commercial biopharma teams can instantly explore thousands of brands for insights into segmentation and targeting, field planning, or brand tracking and forecasting.
