A Mentor for the Ages
Eleanor Petigrow has helped launch a generation of professionals who today are some of the top marketing and communications leaders in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.
A gifted strategist, marketer, and coach, Eleanor is known for helping people uncover their hidden strengths, giving them the confidence to find their voice in professional settings. Eleanor spent the first decade plus of her career on healthcare agency accounts, during which time she had the benefit of being mentored and guided by some of the industry’s greatest minds. Inspired by them, she naturally gravitated to roles in which she guides and mentors agency staff and clients.
She has designed and launched learning and development programs, custom performance management systems, and personal growth planning for employees. She authored innovative training that set the industry standard, including Programming Bootcamp, an immersive experience to teach pitch writing and delivery skills and Story Laboratory, teaching marketing leaders how to craft brand communications. She also developed a workshop for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, helping hundreds of women find their voice in the workplace.
Eleanor joined GCI Health in 2021 in a newly created role, continuing to do what she loves: ensuring the agency is set up for continued growth worldwide by cultivating and coaching personnel to achieve their full potential. “Eleanor has already made a significant impact in elevating our people-first culture,” says Kristin Cahill, Global Chief Executive Officer, GCI Health. “Her expertise in helping others unlock and articulate their own narratives drives career growth, but it also helps power our agency’s growth, too. Eleanor raised three daughters along with her husband while they both built their careers, and she has long been a role model for working parents and achieving work-life balance. Eleanor also coaches recent graduates and young professionals on personal branding and finding a career path.
Eleanor has had an undeniable impact on the healthcare industry by acting as an advocate, champion, and guide, nurturing an entire generation of leaders and teams to reach new heights and maximize their potential.
