Steps Ahead of Tech and Media Evolution

Under Michael Joachim’s leadership at health tech organizations, teams have become more efficient, more competitive, and more profitable. Michael is a passionate, data-driven executive who has a tenacity to challenge the status quo with new ideas.

Throughout his career, Michael has remained steps ahead of tech and media evolution and used this knowledge to serve his clients. Starting his media career at MEC, Michael also led strategy and digital investment for global pharma leader Novartis, where he first discovered his passion for health and the patient populations the industry serves.

Michael transformed the core Pharma business vertical into a broader health and wellness ecosystem and expanded the sales and product mix to focus on high-value and growth opportunities. He designed and led the creation of the company’s first performance guarantee sales model built upon proprietary company assets, selling through multiple deals that saw audience quality at 3-4x national prevalence. Michael’s stellar efforts at Medicx helped further establish his reputation as a results-oriented leader who can successfully redefine categorization in the health data and sales space with the numbers to prove it.

Michael recently joined Sharecare as executive vice president and general manager of Life Sciences and has already seen success from the way in which he approaches data to drive new revenue
opportunities, by enthusiastically pioneering new verticals such as HCP and POC—with multiple deals already sold across each new revenue stream. He is focused on growth, evolving and expanding Sharecare’s capabilities by leveraging its 100 million+ zero-party database and comprehensive product suite of customer activation and management solutions into additional data-driven opportunities for external partners, as well as Sharecare’s Enterprise and Provider divisions.
