As a result, the Gattex Marketing team ignited excitement across the business to achieve record breaking achievements in 2023: the highest number of new patients that have initiated Gattex, plus after sales increasing 21% year over year, they exceeded revenue of $600 million for the first time ever.

The team operates as a unit, partners cross-functionally, and most importantly, has fun along the way. In a recent survey, the top three words that described the Gattex team culture was commitment, positive, and humility. The “feel” of the team has made it a destination location— even +11 years post launch. Recent vacancies on the team have attracted impressive numbers of applicants, and resulted in recruitment of top performers across the Takeda enterprise. There have been two international rotations requested based on the team’s results, accountability, and the opportunity to advance the brand and make a difference.
