Kathryn Wilson of VUE Health

Kathryn Wilson

CEO
VUE Health

Kathryn Wilson fell into an internship in pharmaceutical advertising in 1997, and from that day forward, fell hook, line, and sinker into this industry. If this sounds a little like a love affair, that would be appropriate. The passion and drive to do things differently and really approach the industry with a results- driven architecture with a like-minded senior team that wants to roll up their sleeves and get the job done was the driving force behind VUE Health.

Kathryn stepped on every rung on the ladder on the way up, focusing most of her time in account service and commercial strategy, but also working on creative strategy, copy, and concepting for various healthcare communications agencies.

Kathryn has been leading commercial strategy for the last 10 years, for brands large and small in the pre-commercialization and commercialization process. The more complex the problem, the more interesting it becomes. She has also facilitated 20 product launches in the last 3 years.

“Kathryn has been leading commercial strategy for the last 10 years, for brands large and small in the pre- commercialization and commercialization process.”

As the founder/CEO of VUE Health, Kathryn Wilson dedicates her time to companies that want to make a difference and do things differently: those focused on emerging markets or rare disease and those that are first to commercialize. This supports the ethos of the company: commercialize responsibly but with vigor.

Passionate about people, she is the driving force behind VUE Health’s success and the catalyst for the agency’s future growth. She dives deep for her clients, advocates for people living with diseases, supports the HCPs around the country responsible for healing, and honors her staff. She invests in every employee on an individual level through personalized educational programs, diversity initiatives, and mentorship. For the greater industry, she is often called on to judge healthcare and pharmaceutical industry awards and mentor young women trying to get their start in the world.

Kathryn is also active in her local community because she believes that we can’t serve our community if we don’t engage with all of it. Kathryn and VUE support The Greater Boston Area Food Kitchen, Room to Grow and Pine Street Inn, which helps those experiencing homelessness. She encourages and empowers all VUE employees to donate work hours to charitable organizations in the Greater Boston area.

Jason Joseph, Global Head of Portfolio Strategy/Neurology Business Unit of UCB, Inc. says, “Beyond her own company, Kathryn Wilson has always proactively been a vocal supporter and leader of driving forward DE&I matters, empowering women and men/women of diverse backgrounds. She
embodies the characteristics of what a leader of a company should possess in today’s world.”
