Christine Meberg
EVP, Head of PR Strategy & Planning
Ogilvy Health
A Public Relations Triple Threat
Over the course of her nearly 20-year healthcare PR career, Christine Meberg has consistently made herself known for her triple threat of creativity, strategic counsel, and flawless execution. While staying true to her PR roots, she is a jack-of-all-trades using her earned-first strategies to effectively lead creative, advertising, PR, social/digital, and HCP teammates to develop campaigns that generate media attention, engage audiences, and incite behavior change.
In fact, she has trained under Ogilvy Behavioral Science experts, which has helped her teach her teams to change the way they as communicators and marketers think, to fully understand how clients’ consumers feel. She immerses herself in the world of her clients’ audiences, and that is what allows her to identify the unique insights that set her campaigns apart.
In the last two years, she has been responsible for $7 million in growth revenue, due to new business wins and organic growth across PR and advertising clients. She has also been the strategic driver behind several award-winning campaigns.
For example, her work for a leading OTC pain reliever generated an 88% increase in consumer likelihood to search for the brand and a 15% lift in brand recall in less than a year, earning four industry awards. She also led an unbranded cancer research awareness campaign that cut category media clutter, shattering all earned and social media benchmarks, and earned two industry awards.
Currently, she has an unbranded campaign in market to address dangerous drops in routine vaccination levels due to the COVID-19 pandemic and encourage parents to return to their children’s wellness visits. So far, the results are astounding: her public service announcements have exceeded airings benchmarks by 209%+, social video completion rates are 121% above benchmark, and website click-throughs are 183% above benchmark. That is the power of Christine’s PR strategy.
