As the Co-Founder and CEO of Impetus Digital, Natalie Yeadon is helping life sciences companies around the world collaborate and form long-lasting relationships with their customers and key opinion leaders, virtually. Under her leadership, Impetus is becoming recognized as a catalyst for healthcare digital transformation, one conversation at a time.
Natalie is a successful entrepreneur because she is always a step ahead of the industry. Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, she and her business partner and co-founder, Janice Smith, were leading the way in virtual meetings through Impetus Digital’s best-in-class Impetus InSite Platform. At a time when other small businesses were forced to close, Natalie helped grow the Impetus team and increase the company’s revenue more than two-fold in 2020 compared to 2019. Natalie is also the host of a popular podcast entitled “Healthcare Goes Digital” where she brings exciting new technology ideas and innovations to Impetus’ audience. Further, she is the author of the book The Healthcare Heretic: Leadership for Disruptive Change.
Aside from her entrepreneurial mindset and strategic skills, Natalie is a formidable leader because she cares about those she leads and realizes how integral they are to success. As the demand for Impetus’ services and tools skyrocketed at the start of the pandemic and employees worked around the clock, Natalie and Janice went out of their way to show every employee how appreciated their hard work was. From paying for meal deliveries to scheduling daily “wellness time,” and offering generous bonus plans, their actions spoke as loudly as their words.
Natalie also cares deeply about the environment she and her employees work in. Besides fostering a culturally outstanding 100% work-from-home environment, she committed her business to do its part for the Earth. Her commitment to make Impetus Digital carbon-neutral by 2030 includes launching a tree-planting program where they will plant trees on behalf of their clients and team members for new projects and special occasions. She also aims to help the globe in a much larger way by virtualizing clients’ meetings and events to remove the need to travel.
Under Natalie’s leadership, Impetus has become a business to be modeled by others.
