ELITE 2021 Strategist Nadia Khatri of BioPharm Communications

Nadia Khatri

Director, Omnichannel Strategy

BioPharm Communications

A Voracious Mind

Nadia Khatri’s manager in her first agency job described her as having “an insatiable thirst for knowledge.” Even a brief look at Nadia’s academic and professional history confirms this is undoubtably true. She has an undergraduate degree in Classics and Art History, an MBA with a focus in Marketing, and was accepted to the Wharton School of Business’ Executive Education Residency program prior to the pandemic and is scheduled to complete the program in November 2021. She also plans on applying to a JD program in the future to broaden her knowledge of corporate law in this incredibly regulated space. Then professionally, across three agencies and one agency partner (CMI Media, HealixGlobal, Publicis Health Media, and now BioPharm Communications), and with less than six years of experience, she has quickly risen from Associate Planner to Director of Strategy.

Nadia just wastes no time. Within her first 30 days at BioPharm, Nadia provided feedback on the company’s product offerings, recommendations on branding (material templates, etc.), and presented insights to leadership on how media agency processes affect potential partnerships. Nadia has also taken the lead to reassess the need for new data in strategy synthesis for the company’s portfolio of clients and facilitated conversations in pursuit of a collaboration with the first HCP social offering to provide NPI data.

In her career so far, she has managed teams across multiple HCP, DTC, and Market Access media accounts. One key area of contribution at PHM included evaluating emerging point of care and telehealth technologies during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to her inclusion on the agency’s “Point of Care Task Force” and her creation of a partner catalog for agency-wide use.

As an Indian American, diversity and inclusion are incredibly important to her. During her time at HealixGlobal, Nadia was a founding member and interim lead for the Diversity Team, highlighting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. She also regularly gives back to the community and has previously volunteered with The Mill at Anselma, a National Historic Landmark in Chester Springs, PA, where she also briefly served as a member of the Board of Directors.
