The 5th Digital Pharma West took place July 29-31 in San Francisco. The event started with a bang on the Mobile Day. The opening address by co-chairs Melissa Bojorquez of Physicians Interactive and Marc Monseau from Mint Collective LLC wowed attendees with videos and slides focusing on “today’s innovations, shaping tomorrow’s health” and taking a look into the future of mobile marketing—including passive health tracking, self-diagnosis and remote medicine.

Zoe Dunn of Hale Advisors and John Vieira of Daiichi Sankyo kicked off the main conference with Dr. Seuss-style digital marketing storytelling analogies that were a hit with the crowd.

Speaker faculty included representatives of Pfizer, IMS Health, Bayer HealthCare, Healthgrades, AstraZeneca, Novartis, DMD, Takeda and many more. They each brought the audience great insight and a candid opportunity to ask questions and engage with their colleagues. This open dialogue fostered an incredible environment to learn from one another.
