Having graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario, and attained board certification from the American College of Veterinary Dermatology, Dr. Ackerman has authored several books including Blackwell’s Five-Minute Veterinary Practice Management Consult, The Genetic Connection, and Atlas of Small Animal Dermatology.
In addition to his veterinary credentials, he also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Certificate in Veterinary Practice Administration from Purdue University. He is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) through the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NAVCA).
