The first seminar, open to all security professionals, will be held Monday, May 23, 2016, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. An additional seminar developed specifically for healthcare professionals will be held Friday, May 27, 2016, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Workplace Violence and De-Escalation will feature Steven Crimando, Principal at Behavioral Science Applications — a behavioral science consulting firm that specializes in violence prevention, crisis management and emergency response. Crimando is a board certified expert in Traumatic Stress (BCETS) and Certified Trauma Specialist; and has been awarded Level V Certification in Homeland Security. He is a consultant and trainer to government agencies, multinational corporations, the courts and major media outlets on violence prevention and response.
