GHP Specialty Care AB (publ) (GHP) has appointed the company’s CFO and Deputy
CEO Tobias Linebäck to lead GHP’s business operations outside the Nordic region.
The business area is changing name to GHP International and the primary focus is
the Group’s expanded business operations in the United Arab Emirates.
On 23 December 2015, GHP announced that the Group had won a comprehensive
procurement process regarding management of public health care in the United
Arab Emirates (UAE).
The agreement will run for five years, with a possible extension of at least a
further five years and comprises the managing and operating of two hospitals
(which include emergency, women’s and children’s divisions) and a diabetes
centre that is currently operated by GHP. When fully operational, these will
take care of more than 200,000 patients per year, of whom half are estimated to
be accident and emergency cases which is on a par with Sweden’s major Accident
and Emergency hospitals.
During the spring and summer of 2016, GHP will carry out comprehensive situation
analyses and preparatory work so as to be able to take over the running of the
hospitals in the third quarter.
Tobias Linebäck, today the CFO and Deputy CEO of GHP, has been appointed to lead
GHP International. He assumes his role immediately and thus leaves his position
as CFO. It is estimated that a permanent replacement will be in place within 6
months. Susanna Laursen assumes the role of interim CFO immediately and will be
part of GHP’s senior management team. Susanna has 17 years’ experience as a CFO,
including positions at Unfors RaySafe and MTV Produktion (listed on the stock
exchange). Tobias will remain as Deputy CEO of the GHP Group.

GHP we see him as extremely suited to taking on this assignment,” says GHP’s
