Cegedim Customer Information and SK&A presented the latest results from the Physician Connect Oncology Key Opinion Leader (KOL) study at “Key Influencers and their Networks in Oncology,” a forum held June 3 in Chicago.
The latest segment of the study ended in March 2011 and results on breast cancer KOLs were delivered for the first time at the event, which was attended by invitees from pharmaceutical companies, consultancies, and advertising agencies. The results from the Physician Connect study were presented by guest speakers Dr. Alain Herrera, Dr. Peter Harper, and Dr. William Gradishar.
Dr. Alain Herrera headed the Oncology division at Sanofi-Aventis for 10 years before starting his own consultancy. Dr. Peter Harper is a Consultant Physician and Medical Oncologist at Guy’s, King’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital (London). He specializes in research on lung, gynecologic, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary cancers. Dr. William Gradishar is Betsy Bramsen Professor of Breast Oncology, Director, Maggie Daley Center for Women’s Cancer Care, Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
