GHMC Rebrand
After more than 20 years as GLOBALHealthPR (GHPR), the network of independent health communications agencies founded by Spectrum Science went through a landmark rebrand. The network undertook this initiative to better reflect its positioning in the ever-evolving marketplace and to showcase its expanding capabilities. Where once the network stood out as a collection of PR agencies, today it delivers a diverse range of capabilities and offerings (marketing, advertising, medical communications, etc.)—making the current branding of GHPR no longer sufficient.
Hence, Global Health Marketing & Communications (GHMC) was born. Working alongside team members at Spectrum Science, GHMC developed a new brand identity which reinforces the group’s laser-focus on healthcare, emphasizing authentic human connections, while reflecting the increasingly diversified offerings within its network.
To achieve the desired results of the rebrand launch campaign, several tactics were used, including earned media outreach, paid social media and search, revamped social media channels, and an email announcement. These activities led to website traffic volume that was 540% higher than the average daily volume for the former GHPR website and earned media efforts reached a potential audience of more than 171K.
