Perhaps no industry is more deserving of a celebration after the past 19 months than the life sciences. During the pandemic, the people in our industry worked tirelessly to deliver solutions to help HCPs and patients suffering from all diseases get through this difficult time. While we still couldn’t gather in person, we threw a virtual bash to recognize everything this industry has achieved during this time. And just because everyone had to join in from their homes didn’t mean we couldn’t have a blast. People still dressed their best for a chance to win a prize. Music still boomed at overwhelming volumes to encourage people to dance their hearts out. And winners were still given a chance in the spotlight to talk about their accomplishments. After everything they did, they deserved a chance to party.

Anna Stashower, CEO/Publisher of PM360, kicked off the festivities.
Joshua Prince, CEO, DDB Health and CMO, Omnicom Health Group was happy to introduce this year’s Lifetime Achievement winner.
Ed Wise, CEO, Omnicom Health Group was named the Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient. Ed congratulated all of the other winners and spoke of his pride for our industry.
Zoe Cohen of Doximity, Inc. was named Marketer of the Year and spoke a minute about her company’s recent success.
Speaking of success, Moderna took home the coveted Pharma/Biotech Company of the Year award and Gretchen Smythe, Director of U.S. Marketing spoke about what’s next for the company.
Novavax won Specialty Pharma Company of the Year, and Silvia Taylor, SVP, Global Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations was on hand to accept.
Dave Guiga of AstraZeneca couldn’t have imagined a better night, which is saying something since he won the Imagination Award.
Calcium CEO and Founder Steven Michaelson couldn’t contain his excitement for being named the Agency of the Year for the third consecutive time.
Emcee Judy Gold welcomes a

this year’s Brand Champions.
Frank Powers’ agency Elevate Healthcare won two Initiative Awards, but his highlight may have been being named the Best Dressed Man.
Of course, no one could compete with Sue Samour, VP, Marketing at Pleio, in the Best Dressed Woman contest once she pulled out the tiara, proving she deserved the crown.
The team at VMS BioMarketing still gathered together and even had celebratory cupcakes on hand when they won Gold in Best Persistence/Adherence.
Even though the party was virtual, we still had DJ Keith on hand for a dance party not to be missed.
Women’s Health Brand Champion Nicole Yohn, PhD, Associate Director, Marketing, Gilead-Kite Oncology was definitely in the party spirit and all too happy to show off some dance moves.
The team at VMS BioMarketing, led by Jennifer Stephenson, danced until the very end earning them the title of the Best Dancer Female. And Joe George, Director, Marketing Technology COE, AbbVie, with the help of his entire family, danced his way to the title of Best Dancer Male.
