PM360 Announces Winners of the Second Annual ELITE Awards

The 100 Most Influential People in the Healthcare Industry

NEW YORK, NY, June 1, 2016:  PM360, the premier information resource for marketing decision makers in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors, today announced the winners of its 2nd Annual ELITE Awards. The ELITE (Exceptional • Leaders • Innovators • Transformers • Entrepreneurs) represent the most influential people in the healthcare industry today.

The awards honor individuals and marketing teams who have made a significant impact to the healthcare industry throughout their careers. More than 500 submissions were received and nominees were evaluated based on their accomplishments; testimonials from their bosses, clients, and colleagues; and supporting evidence that reflects the impact of their efforts (i.e., company growth, campaign success, etc.). One hundred winners were selected in 16 categories.

“In just the second year of our ELITE Awards, we received a substantial increase in both the quantity and quality of submissions making it difficult to even narrow our selections to 100,” says Anna Stashower, CEO and Publisher of PM360. “Ultimately, we determined that these 100 winners are most deserving of being called ELITE. PM360 also selects one person as the “Uber ELITE,” or the individual among the 100 winners who best personifies the criteria of a PM360 ELITE. This year that honor goes to Andrew L. Pecora, MD, Chief Innovation Officer and Vice President, Cancer Services, John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, NJ. Dr. Pecora has been on the leading edge of many cancer care advances, and is recognized as one of the world’s foremost experts in blood and marrow stem cell transplantation, cellular medicine and immunology research.
