PM360 Announces 2014 Trailblazer Award Finalists

Top Healthcare Talent, Companies and Brand Champions to be Honored September 18th

NEW YORK, NY, August 20, 2014–The finalists are in for the sixth-annual PM360 Trailblazer Awards. PM360, a leading health-marketing industry trade magazine, will honor the pharmaceutical industry’s most influential innovators.  Established in 2009, the Trailblazer Awards are given to outstanding companies, marketers and brand managers representing the best the industry has to offer.

“We are proud to announce that we received our biggest response yet to our call to entries with double the number of submissions we received last year,” says Anna Stashower, CEO and Publisher of PM360. “Our judges had a difficult time narrowing the field down to just a select group of finalists.”

The award finalists are selected by the PM360 editorial board, which is comprised of some of the most forward-thinking leaders in their respective fields.

“This year’s finalists have proven that the industry is up for the challenge of adapting to the changing healthcare environment by delivering real solutions to change outcomes,” adds Stashower. “All of the obstacles they faced this year have only sharpened their skills—and we are privileged to honor their achievements.”

To reach the finalist phase, companies must show achievement in various areas including innovation, talent development and social responsibility. Finalists are acknowledged and winners will be honored during a special reception at Gotham Hall at 1356 Broadway in New York City on September 18th, 2014.

Montel Williams, a patient advocate and U.S. Navy and Marine veteran, will be the keynote speaker. He will describe his journey to help form NeuroHabilitation Corporation with scientists from the University of WI and partner with the U.S. Army on a new medical device currently in clinical trials that may help soldiers suffering from traumatic brain injury.

“I am excited to be part of the group that is attempting to bring this groundbreaking device to market,” says Williams. “It has the potential to help people overcome debilitating neurological symptoms that are caused by disease or trauma and improve their overall quality of life.”

PM360 is also proud to announce that Ron Pantello, Founder of Lally, McFarland & Pantello and Former CEO and Chairman of Euro RSCG Life Worldwide, is the 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient.
