Long Live Long Island” Consumer Rebranding Campaign (Catholic Health and Real Chemistry)

Committed to serving Long Island residents, Catholic Health (CH) faced steep competition from other healthcare facilities. They turned to Real Chemistry, who refreshed the brand message to reintroduce CH to patients in Long Island.

Through surveys, CH learned its main competitors were increasingly perceived as out of touch corporate entities. The “Long Live Long Island” campaign focused on the uniqueness of the region—and why residents matter to Catholic Health.

The campaign, which ran January through December 2021, included very well-received radio and TV spots, print ads that deepened CH’s story, digital display ads with higher-than-average click-through rates, and short social media messages that invited conversation and garnered new interest in the healthcare network.

The results indicated increased interest in CH, with 2,300 weekly website users. Furthermore, 53% of survey responders said they would be very or extremely likely to consider Catholic Health.
