In late 2021, Intouch Group was acquired by EVERSANA®, the leading independent provider of commercial services to the global life sciences industry. The integration with Intouch Group created EVERSANA INTOUCH—a team more than 1,800 employees strong, coming together to transform the way messages are delivered across rapidly evolving platforms to help clients bring life-saving and life-changing therapies to market.

Innovation

EVERSANA and Intouch legacy agencies introduced two new practices in 2021: Medical Communications and Omnichannel Activation Model, providing innovation across the product lifecycle, analyzing and predicting trends and behaviors that better inform promotional and support strategies for therapies.

Intouch teamed up with cancer survivor and founder of The Chrysalis Initiative, Jamil Rivers, to launch the world’s first digital platform designed specifically for Black women by Black women which provides the tools to identify what cancer support they should be getting, choose hospitals that are successfully providing equitable care to Black women, and rate the cancer care they’re receiving.

The team at EVERSANA ENGAGE supported all aspects of the launch of MARGENZA, a new breast cancer treatment from MacroGenics, to the market. The team developed an interactive, comprehensive campaign that brought 29,000 visitors to margenza.com. Those numbers more than tripled by the end of 2021.

Talent Development

EVERSANA INTOUCH officially committed to a “work from anywhere” flexible workplace policy, refusing to give in to the industry trend of forcing employees back to the office for any number of days. Also in 2021, EVERSANA INTOUCH reached the milestone of paying down more than $1M in student loan debt through its student loan paydown benefit.

To help build a sense of community in a hybrid world, EVERSANA INTOUCH launched its Virtual Vibes program, featuring regular online group activities, employee spotlights, birthday shout-outs, and a long list of opportunities to grow, laugh, and learn—virtually.

The Inclusion and Diversity Alliance continued to promote inclusion and engagement, hosting 17 programs on women in the workplace and disability in the workplace, plus cultural and educational events for Hispanic Heritage Month, LGBTQIA, Indian festival days, Pride Month, and Black History Month.

Social Responsibility

In 2021, the team developed an all-new philanthropic program, The Give Back, focusing on three pillars of giving: EVERSANA INTOUCHFor Health, EVERSANA INTOUCHWith the World, and EVERSANA INTOUCHFor Justice.

EVERSANA INTOUCH supports Heart to Heart International’s Adopt-A-Lab program by sponsoring two point-of-care labs at free health clinics in major cities, enabling real-time lab results for patients in underserved communities to help close the gap on health inequity and expand healthcare access for better patient outcomes.

EVERSANA ENGAGE continues to support the Go4TheGoal Foundation, a nonprofit started by EVERSANA ENGAGE leadership team member Dr. Richard Stefanacci to support families and children impacted by Ewing’s sarcoma. The new, combined agency will retain a commitment to philanthropic efforts in 2022 and beyond.
