Enter Cimzia’s CIMplicity Nurse Support Program. CIMplicity nurses are recruited by VMS BioMarketing and trained in collaboration between VMS and UCB. The personalized, human connection provided by CIMplicity nurses sets patients up for success and support throughout therapies for rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Crohn’s disease, plaque psoriasis, and nonradiographic axial spondyloarthritis.
CIMplicity Nurse Support was designed to deliver effective patient support that increased knowledge and confidence to achieve long-term success on Cimzia and take a more active role in their care. CIMplicity nurses listen and help navigate treatment challenges, answer questions about treatment, offer guidance, and help create a personalized treatment plan. Support includes help with questions, injection training, and assistance with nutrition and customized wellness information.
Although CIMplicity nurses do not replace HCPs medical advice, nurse support has significantly enhanced both the patient experience and adherence outcomes. Over 10,000 patients have called into the service, with 67% opting-in for Nursing Support. Rheumatology patients who are enrolled in the CIMplicity nurse program have significantly higher persistency than patients not enrolled in the program.
