Previously Skala was an account supervisor at Energy BBDO, where she managed vitamin and nutritionals portfolios for a leading pharmaceutical company, overseeing multi- disciplinary marketing efforts across multiple channels, including TV, print, radio, digital, out
of home, packaging, promotions, trade and medical. Gold had previously been an account supervisor at Purohit Navigation, where she supervised six brands and five brand launches, in the area of dermatology.

Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide has appointed Peter Rooney to the 2011 NJ Sharing Network Foundation Board of Trustees. Rooney is currently director of client services
at Ogilvy CommonHealth Medical Marketing. As a board of trustees member, he will leverage his healthcare marketing and strategic planning background as well as his patient-advocacy experience to further raise awareness and funds that support donor registration, education and research.

EMERSON, BUYSE and ENGLAND
ReachForce appointed Michael Emerson vice president of marketing, Russell Buyse vice president of products, and Justin England vice president of partner development and strategic channels. Emerson is a 20-year veteran of the marketing automation and the database marketing industry; he was previously chief marketing officer at Aprimo. Buyse comes from the National Transcript Center, where he headed up product and technology development. England was the co-founder of Manticore Technology, where he served as VP of sales and customer success.
FALSETTI
Dr. Samuel Falsetti has been named clinical science director at Cambridge BioMarketing. Dr. Falsetti comes from the Publicis Healthcare Communication Group—Discovery Chicago where, as a scientific director, he led scientific strategy on multiple antiviral products as well as groundbreaking investigational-targeted oncology therapies. In addition, he holds multiple positions in the nonprofit sector. He is a member of a data monitoring committee for the NCI Community Clinical Oncology Program, has served as President of the Florida Chapter of the American Medical Writers Association, and has received awards for multiple invited lectures on healthcare communications to respected medical institutions, such as the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center.
SPIERS
Qforma has appointed Mark Spiers to its Board of Directors. Spiers retired in April as President and CEO of Wolters Kluwer Pharma Solutions. He brings to the Qforma board nearly 30 years of industry experience, marked by positions of increasing responsibility and executive leadership at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (BMS), Pharmacia Corporation and MedPointe Pharmaceuticals. As president and CEO of the Pharma Solutions division at Wolters Kluwer Health, he was responsible for all global business strategy and operations for the company’s healthcare analytics and marketing/publishing services product lines.
TREZZA
Richard Trezza has been hired as executive vice president, director of client services at Ogilvy CommonHealth Payer Marketing. Previously Trezza was employed as senior director and head of U.S. managed markets and market access strategy, operations and analytics at Novartis. He has also worked at Schering-Plough, Oxford Health, HealthSouth and Quest Diagnostics.
HARDING
Tara Harding, SDI senior director of sales operations, was to be honored as an industry Rising Star by the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) at its 2011 Woman of the Year award luncheon in New York City. Harding has been with SDI since 2002, when she began in the finance department. She now oversees SDI’s sales operations, contract administration, and forecasting.

Pacific Communications has hired Diane Sinico as copy supervisor in its creative department. Previously Sinico was a senior copywriter at Ignite Health in Irvine, California.
TRETOLA and SCHWEIKER
MicroMass Communications, Inc. has hired Michael Tretola as interactive media producer and Karl Schweiker as web developer. Tretola was previously a senior project manager at Razorfish Health, where he supervised the creative and technical teams, developing digital initiatives and campaigns for the firm’s leading healthcare clients. Schweiker was most recently employed as a web applications developer at Xchange Technology Group, where he designed, developed and implemented Internet and Intranet web applications, developed and maintained the company’s e-commerce sites, created content management system sites for the company’s various business units and developed .net applications for the company’s global intranet sites.
