An experienced pharmaceutical and biotechnology executive, Heiden joins AMAG from GTC Biotherapeutics, Inc., where he served as president and chief executive officer since June 2010. He will return as chairman of GTC Biotherapeutics following commencement of his employment with AMAG.

Jooste received his diploma in Pharmacy from Pretoria Technikon in South Africa, and a Bachelor of Commerce, Economics and Industrial Psychology from the University of South Africa.

He will serve as a member of Incline’s senior leadership team and have broad responsibility for sales, marketing, and other commercial operations.
