Outcome Health Appoints First Chief Engineering Officer

 

Outcome Health, a company dedicated to elevating patient outcomes and care through health intelligence, welcomes Nandini Ramani as its first Chief Engineering Officer. Ramani’s large-scale experience includes engineering effectiveness at social media powerhouse, Twitter, and running Oracle’s $320M Java Business. At Outcome, she will monitor and enrich the company’s technology platform, including overseeing Outcome’s personalized physician tablets.

Cavion Hires New Exec

Spyridon “Spyros” Papapetropoulos, MD, PhD, joins clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, Cavion, as both Executive Vice President, Research and Development and Chief Medical Officer. Papapetropoulos joins Cavion from Teva Pharmaceuticals, where he held the role of VP, Global Specialty Development, Neurodegenerative Diseases, Movement Disorders and Clinical Trial Innovation. At Cavion, he will continue to enhance therapies based on their T-type calcium channel (Cav3 platform), utilizing his experience in biopharmaceutical and digital health experience.

Giant Creative/Strategy

Appoints Andrew Wint as SVP, Technology at the company’s San Francisco headquarters. He comes to Giant from The CementBloc where he served as VP, Director of Technology. At Giant, he will provide strategic direction for the agency’s marketing technology portfolio.

Greater Than One Group

Names James P. Plattner as Global Chief Financial Officer, who brings more than 20 years of advertising industry experience to GTO. Previously, Plattner was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Two Twelve, and held positions within the Grey Global Group, including Chief Financial Officer of The J. Brown Agency. At GTO, he’ll oversee all of the financial and operational direction for each of their offices including New York, San Francisco, and Madrid.

Jounce Therapeutics

Welcomes Hugh Cole as Chief Business Officer and Head of Corporate Development. Cole joins Jounce with more than 25 years experience, including his most recent position at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals where he served as Chief Business Officer.

Neon Therapeutics

The immuno-oncology company appoints Teresa Regan as their first full-time VP of Human Resources. She’ll maintain Neon’s focus on development of T-cell therapies and therapeutic vaccines to treat cancer. Previously, she served at Cubist Pharmaceuticals as their first Head of Human Resources.

PACIFIC Communications

Appoints Kent Sewell to Associate Creative Director/Copy. His experience on the client side will assist with both Pacific’s BOTOX migraine and BOTOX therapeutics creative teams.

Purohit Navigation

Names Brad Sherrill as Vice President of Account Services. His primary role will be servicing and expanding the agency’s client base in California. He brings 18 years of experience at companies including Johnson & Johnson, Genentech, and Novartis.

Razorfish Health

Promotes Brandon Ashcraft to SVP, Operations. Ashcroft will focus on developing an efficient engine to better serve agency clientele. He previously served 18 years as Executive Director, Technology Product Manager at Kaplan Test Prep. Keri Hettel was also promoted to SVP, Analytics and Strategy. Her experience includes more than 15 years in analytics and 11 in strategic healthcare. She will use customer insight and feedback to help facilitate the expansion of the agency’s client portfolio.

Appoints Joanne Cordeiro to Chief Human Resources Officer. She’ll use her extensive Human Resources experience—including roles at Teradyne Inc., Covansys Corporation, and Avid Technology, Inc.—to assist her additional appointment as a member of the Executive Committee.

Sobi

With more than 15 years in biopharmaceutical communications and experience as a corporate communications leader and journalist, Trista Morrison joins Sobi as VP of Communications in North America. She will assist Sobi with their ongoing mission to treat rare and challenging diseases. Previously, as Director of Corporate Communications at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, she assisted in Ironwood’s transition from a research and development organization to an integrated commercial biotechnology company.

Theravance Biopharma

Names Shehnaaz Suliman, MD, MPhil, MBA, as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy. She brings more than 15 years of life sciences corporate strategy and business development at the senior-level to the company, and her responsibilities will include portfolio management strategy with a focus on increasing value of therapeutic products. Previously, she served as Vice President, Roche Partnering, as the Global Business Development Leader for Roche’s specialty care, immunology, and infectious diseases franchises.

Turnstone Biologics

This clinical-stage immuno-oncology company specializing in oncolytic viral immunotherapies, appoints Kris Elverum as Chief Business Officer and José Manuel (Manny) Otero, PhD, as Vice President, Manufacturing and CMC. Elverum previously served as Chief Business Officer at SQZ Biotech, and Dr. Otero hails from Seres Therapeutics, where he was Vice President of Bioprocess Development and Manufacturing.

W20 Sentient

Both Dominic Viola and Michael Spitz have new appointments at W20 Sentient, a marketing and communications firm prioritizing insights and analytics. Viola will serve as the Managing Director, Client Services from the Morristown office and will utilize his 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. Spitz will serve as Practice Leader, Strategy from the New York office. He previously served as VP of Strategy at Klick Health.
