The 9th Annual Digital Pharma East recently took place September 29-October 2 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA. More than 775 industry executives gathered to hear from over 100 speakers to discuss how to leverage digital innovation, and how to prepare for a solution—not just a product.

Digital Technologies Day, formerly Mobile Day, kicked off the event with a focus on embracing the potential of digital health. The lineup of international presenters showcased digital technology innovations, including connected devices, social media, app development and mobile technology, which are driving the future of the life science industry.

The theme for Main Conference Days One and Two: Unlocking the potential of life science organizations’ speed, flexibility, culture and execution within digital health and evolved customer service offerings. Over these two days, attendees heard from top pharma company representatives who presented case studies and keynotes, and participated in panel discussions and roundtables about the state of digital health today, with a look at the industry’s future.

In its second year, the Social/Innovation Day was a resounding success. With joint presentations and “fireside chats,” attendees heard from social media platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Google/YouTube and life science organizations that have partnered with social platforms to develop innovative social media engagements.

This year’s Digital Pharma East was an overwhelming success and a fantastic springboard into the 2016 Digital Pharma Series.
