Prognos Health Launches Analytics Platform

A leader in clinically focused healthcare analytics, Prognos Health launched an integrated healthcare analytics platform that transforms the way pharmaceutical companies, providers, and payers receive and analyze healthcare data. Within minutes, the powerful prognosFACTOR platform queries data from more than 30 billion lab records and 325 million de-identified patients, delivering scalable and digestible analytics to answer meaningful questions on the patient journey. The embedded patient journey mapping applications allow pharmaceutical companies, providers, and payers to pinpoint insights at decision-making speeds and deliver a clear picture of opportunities to improve outcomes.

Melissa Leonhauser, VP of Life Sciences Product Strategy at Prognos Health, explains the unique benefits of prognosFACTOR to analyze the provided trusted and diverse healthcare data: “In addition to speed, we’ve also introduced a deeper level of clinical specificity based on our unique expertise harmonizing and integrating lab test results with closed medical and prescription claims. The ability to iterate quickly and understand where there may be opportunity to treat a second- or third-line occurrence of a disease at any time of the brand lifecycle is incredibly valuable to our clients.”

Sharecare has dedicated itself to supporting patient education and engagement with four new products designed to give people the content they want and need, in a variety of interactive, personalized, and frictionless formats. The digital health company approaches engagement among U.S. consumers with the understanding that every patient journey is unique and requires individual consideration to motivate, educate, and enable patients to improve their health. Sharecare’s newly launched, award-winning solutions include:

Up Close and Personal: A virtual reality-based educational tool that takes patients through the progression of a diagnosed disease and the science of their treatment, along with content about their condition delivered by medical experts and patients like them.

Our Nation and Condition: An interactive map that visualizes national-, state-, and community-level trends associated with specific chronic conditions. Beyond data insights such as prevalence and measures of health risk for various disease states, this resource shows people the impact of relevant social determinants of health—such as access to gyms or fresh produce versus fast food—in their own communities.

Personal Path to Better Health: By determining whether the user is a caregiver or patient, diagnosed or undiagnosed, or already under a treatment plan, this ultra-personalized health content experience allows users to follow an individualized digital content path that best suits their own health journey.

Interactive Physician Consult Simulations: A virtual consult simulation that helps patients better prepare for their medical appointments by guiding them through important questions and feedback about the specifics of their health. This video-powered solution empowers patients to feel informed about complex topics related to their health and prepared to have effective conversations with their HCP.
