Director, Market Access, Strategy & Innovation
Novo Nordisk Inc.
Sarah Dobson is a rising star—and she is rising fast. Sarah started at Novo Nordisk as a Senior Manager and then quickly progressed to a Director level. As an Associate Brand Director of Victoza, she oversaw programs and resources that helped cement Victoza as the leading GLP-1 in the diabetes market. This success led to her current role as Brand Director for the GLP-1 portfolio in the newly developed Novo Nordisk Managed Markets Strategy and Innovations team.
Her careful observation of the evolving managed markets landscape has led her to the insights that have fueled multiple high-profile projects for Victoza and a pre-launch GLP-1. And Sarah isn’t afraid to push the boundaries of payer communications in the diabetes space. As a Brand Director for Victoza, she led the development of a disease awareness campaign that urges payers to “Consider CV” when managing populations with type 2 diabetes—an important conversation since the majority of diabetics also suffer from cardiovascular disease. The campaign rolled out this spring and includes both personal and non-personal tactics.
Sarah has consistently shown her unwavering desire to make improvements in the way payer customers interact with and understand product information. As Market Access Director, Sarah integrates seamlessly with other divisions of Novo Nordisk to ensure that a unified approach is taken at every opportunity. Working closely with the medical, contracting, and health and economics team, she’s orchestrating a body of work designed to lead to a successful new product launch in 2018.
Despite the her challenging work schedule, Sarah still finds the time to teach a weekly spin class, crush the 30-day yoga challenge, and travel to exotic locations. She is someone who can simply do it all—and do it well.
