Throughout her career, Neera Chaudhary has been leading companies through significant transformation. From helping global marketing and PR agencies within the world’s largest holding companies rapidly expand their footprint in healthcare to evolving business cultures to improve performance and inspire employees, Neera has become known across the industry as a champion of change for progress.
Within her first year at Ketchum as President, North America, leading its largest region, the firm recorded double-digit top and bottom-line growth greater than any year in the past decade of the agency’s performance. Prior to that, she was the Global President of Healthcare at Golin and a member of its executive board, where she drove the highest and fastest growth of any sector/practice at the company during her tenure. She led the transformation and integration of Golin’s medical education acquisition—Virgo Health—which catapulted into growth across the U.K. and U.S.
Most recently, she served as CEO of imre for the past seven months, departing the agency in April 2023. In that time, she led the agency’s team in securing seven new clients for $12 million in revenue; assembled a new executive leadership team centered around commercialization, client excellence, creativity, and culture; and transformed the business base from largely social and digital project remits to Brand, HCP, DTC, and PR AOR.
Through it all, Neera is guided by the principle that the work must serve humanity with kindness, compassion, equity, and inclusion. She used her time as imre’s CEO to further her personal commitment for gender pay equity and gender parity in executive leadership which she achieved in 90 days and helping patients directly, establishing a partnership between imre and Watsi, a nonprofit healthcare crowdsourcing platform that enables donors to directly fund medical care for individuals in developing countries.
Neera currently serves on PR Council’s Board of Directors, an organization committed to empowering current and future leaders in communication, innovation, and business through education, events, and resources. And in 2021, she was appointed to the Board of Directors of the United Hospital Fund—an independent, nonprofit organization focused on building an effective and equitable healthcare system for every New Yorker.
