Challenging the Industry to Do Better

Christopher Savage will tell you that his career path as a strategist started to “pick up” in June of 2013 when he became involved with his first pharmaceutical product launch at Vynamic, an Inizio company. The project was a first for Vynamic, and what started as a simple brand planning and project management contract, quickly evolved into a new service offering for Vynamic and a passion Chris pursued for seven years. During his time as the Product Launch lead for Vynamic, he oversaw dozens of launches while continually evolving the way in which Vynamic approached its launch capability, from project management through launch strategy design and functional strategy development.

Having moved over to Engage in 2020, Chris is charged with helping to lead the company’s transformation to a strategic commercialization and engagement partner specializing in healthcare. In the midst of managing robust company growth and earnings, Chris is constantly looking at how to best align the organization around core common capabilities, using its collective muscle to positively impact patient outcomes by inspiring change, one engagement at a time.

His strategic thinking has led to continual improvements of the company’s engagement services such as the globalization of Engage’s Medical Affairs capabilities, and the evolution of the company’s Commercial services to focus on efficient and effective customer engagement driven by data and delivering true omnichannel capabilities.

As a front-line engagement partner to the pharmaceutical industry, Chris recognizes much work is still to be done and is focusing on strategies that will evolve engagement to drive better behaviors both efficiently and cost effectively. Continually challenging the status quo, his goal is to make sure that every engagement is a combination of the right message, delivered in the right channel, at the right time to drive the necessary actions leading to an exceptional treatment experience for each patient.
