After losing his mother to lung cancer, Matt Goff catalyzed his mission of empowering patients, caregivers, and stakeholders. He has achieved that through his efforts to unlock meaningful value from innovative technologies to purposefully drive positive outcomes.

For example, during his time at Bristol Myers Squibb Matt helped develop a patient support program that offered remote patient monitoring tools, including a temperature monitor from Blue Spark Technology. The addition of these tools not only helped to support patients with their primary therapy, but their broader healthcare journey.

More recently at Coherus, Matt built a home-grown CRM database on the blockchain, which gives them the ability to enable plugins and extensions using smart contracts to customize data nodes without having to bear the cost of an expanded tech stack. By creating this connected ecosystem with his team, they are able to feed any exhaust data they receive from any sort of engagement back to their analytics and field teams, so they have a more comprehensive knowledge of what’s happening with their customers.

Matt has also successfully spearheaded the implementation of a long list of game-changing media tools and technologies that in 2022 delivered incredible results for his brands, besting industry benchmarks. For example, for their disease state education campaign on nasopharyngeal carcinoma called NPCfacts.com, they have seen visitor traffic 11x the previous year’s total category search volume. In 2023, he has added to his innovation portfolio by extending and advancing successful NPP programs, and investing in new digital communication tools and strategies, such as augmented reality presentations, to dramatically enhance the company’s personal engagement channels.
